This is actually a set of 3 pictures stitched together vertically so that I could get the full height of the canyon.
Piles of rocks that are intended as trail markers like these, are called cairns.
I took these pictures on a family trip to Arches National Park. To say there’s some really impressive rock structures is a real understatement.
